That's finally on several scores. The first is finally getting off my butt to write something, anything, in any one of my four blogs. Life can be so distracting. If we don't jump back up on the horse, the critter's likely to end up any old where. Sometimes, we can't even find him, he's wandered so far afield.
Within a few months we'll start seeing just how bad this can get when we start receiving all those "this year in brief at our house" letters stuffed inside Xmas cards. We're all so busy, busy, busy it's hard, without a concerted effort, to pull us back up on the wayward horse.
Finally I've had some movement on the job front. Not a lot, but enough to keep the RV park from kicking me out as they threatened.
My friend Steve (Visible Light), has been willing and able to give me some work. It's not a lot, but enough to pay rent. At this point, anything is better than nothing. And since the work is in my "field" (educational technology) and marketing, it's quite interesting. Bless him!
I finally got an interview for one of the four jobs at the organization where my friend works. It's next Thursday. I'm not sure how this interview relates to all four jobs in which I was interested but I'll find out. The personnel lady was supposed to e-mail me info but so far, nada, even though I called and left her a voice mail. I have a feeling she's either in overwhem or perhaps is an underwhelmed employee. Not a great start. We'll see.
And finally, I've admitted to myself that, yes, I'm depressed again. Not "where are the damned sleeping pills" depressed but "I don't feel like getting dressed today or changing the kitty litter" depressed. Most people love autumn. I don't. I always get depressed when it cools down.
Finally, I'm going to have to get over that and learn to feel positive when the nip's in the air.
